Do you eat bagels? Do you drink coffee? If you answered yes to both of these questions, then you might want to eat your Bagel and get your Caffeine fix at the same time. You can do that by trying the new Espresso Buzz Bagel. The product was introduced to the public on Thursday, May 4 as the latest product of Einstein Bros. Bagels, according to CBS News. It is said to be the first of its kind in the world.

Bagel and coffee

A lot of people love to consume bagels and coffee together. This combination is now in one item. People who have tried it say they simply love it, and it works well for them when they are in a rush in the morning.

They can grab a bagel with coffee in it and eat the combination on the go. However, devoted coffee lovers say they prefer drinking a hot Cup Of Coffee rather than eating it.

Espresso Buzz Bagel

This new creation is a combination of a bagel and 32 milligrams of caffeine baked in it. The average 8-ounce cup of joe contains abut 95 milligrams of caffeine. So, you will be missing a lot of caffeine by eating the bagel with caffeine in it. That means the bagel contains about the same amount of caffeine that is found in only 1/3 cup of regular coffee. That's the downside of eating your coffee in a bagel. It really isn't enough for coffee addicts. A person usually has to eat at least three bagels to get the same satisfaction and benefits of a full cup of coffee.

In addition to the small amount of caffeine, the bagel company says the Espresso Buzz Bagel also has 13 grams of protein, 6.5 milligrams of iron and is a good source of magnesium. The Espresso Buzz Bagel is just one of three new bagels that are now available. There is also a protein and thiamine-infused bagel. The third new one is a bagel with a serving of omega 3.

Reactions to the new combination

The opinions are mixed on social media. One person commented that she has not seen a product more suited for her. Another person says she would rather eat a bagel and drink a hot cup of coffee separately. Besides, there is not enough caffeine in just one bagel, and she doesn't want to eat three of them just to get the same amount of caffeine that's in a regular cup of coffee.

What do you think about the caffeine infused bagel? Is it something you would try, or would you rather eat your bagel and drink your coffee hot and from a cup? If there is not enough caffeine in the bagel for you, then it might not be a good choice. However, if you want to cut down on the amount of caffeine you consume anyway, then this might be a good way to cut back.
