In the age of Social Media and surveillance camera's all over the place, most all of our moves can be tracked. When you are the president of the United States, this is especially true. According to the Washington Post: "Americans are keeping tabs on Donald Trump, and disappointed in what is being revealed. The Donald has spent 1 out of every 3 days since being in office, on private properties that bear his name.

Out of 66 days in office, the president has spent 21 of them on Trump-owned land."

The president's leisure time is being watched

Early on President Trump said he was going to be working for the American people and was not going to be spending his time playing golf. He has, however, made 13 trips to the golf course during his first 2 months as Commander in Chief. There are tweets on Twitter and pictures on Instagram of the president during his leisure time. His every move is being watched.

Interestingly, Donald Trump has refused to go to Camp David, which is only a 20 minute helicopter ride from the White House, and is specifically set up as a presidential getaway.

According to the Washington Post, he spends his time at Trump National Golf Club in Potomac Falls, VA., Mar- a Largo, in Palm Beach FL., Trump International Golf Club in West Palm Beach, and Trump International Hotel, in Washington DC.

The reality show president

Each of these resorts are the President's own private properties. And for this reason, business has increased, because of people hoping to get a glimpse of the POTUS. Mr. Trump transitioned into the Oval Office having been a reality TV celebrity, and business mogul. It is obvious that many still relate to him as such. Press secretary Sean Spicer has indicated that on some occasions the president is conducting meetings, and not playing golf.

Even so, some Americans are upset because the president was not true to his word about his leisure time. For this reason, and because President Trump is viewed more as a celebrity than presidential, Americans have their eyes on him, and will no doubt scrutinize his every move as long as he remains in The White House.
