This year's Valentine's Day is going to be special for "Fortnite Battle Royale" players. Epic Games is preparing a special event for players to attend, and there will be plenty of rewards to earn as well. The special event, called "Share The Love," starts on February 8, and the game developer has revealed what is coming with it. Make sure you get online and earn exclusive rewards which will be available only during the duration of this event.

The video game creator will reward "Fortnite Battle Royale" players with free cosmetic items, a double XP weekend, a new competitive system, and a lot more!

Content creators will also be rewarded as Epic Games will allow them to earn four times more money from their supporters!

Free cosmetic items

If you support a "Fortnite Battle Royale" content creator, you will be given a free wrap for your weapons and vehicles. If you currently don't support anyone, make sure you enter a creator's name in the Item Shop from February 8 to February 22 to be eligible for the wrap. The reward will be given out to players with the release of the v7.40 update.

Beside the exclusive wrap, Battle Pass owners will be able to unlock additional styles for Trog, Powder, and Onesie outfits.

These new styles will be unlocked through the Overtime Challenges, which will also reward the Valentine Wrap and the Vines Contrail.

Double XP weekends

Epic Games will have two Double XP weekends for "Fortnite Battle Royale" players.

The first weekend will begin on February 15 and end two days later, while the second one will start on February 22 and last until February 24.

Competitive game play

The video game creator will enable "Share The Love" Competitive Series on February 9 and 10. Top performers will be placed into higher divisions, and the game developer announced there would be four different divisions: [Open Division] --> [Prospect Division] --> [Contender Division] --> [Champion Division].

Players will unlock the next division by earning a pin during any daily session. Additionally, players who earn a pin in the Champion Division will unlock access to the Champion Division Finals. The Finals will take place on February 23 and 24.

Epic Games hasn't revealed everything about the competitive gameplay, but we can expect a few more big things to come with the v7.40 patch. This patch will most likely be released on Tuesday, February 12, and will be one of the biggest patches of this season.
