The latest updates for the PS4-exclusive "Spider-Man" video game reveal new details about the DLC expansion, "The City That Never Sleeps." Game writer Jon Paquette told Polygon in an interview that the DLC stories will allow players to experience a new take in the popular Marvel game after they finish the main story.

Spidey's Advanced suit is also featured in Sony's new animated film, "Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse." The "Spider-Man" game will feature players as Peter Parker in a massive open-world New York City. He fights criminals on the streets while he tries to balance a normal life.

However, a new threat emerges as Martin Li and The Demons terrorizes his city.

New fresh stories in the DLC

According to Polygon, Jon Paquette wants players to engage further with Peter's story in "Spider-Man" PS4's DLC expansions and promised fans a fresh new take after they finish the main plot.

“I’m really working for them. I’ll help them develop the ideas for all these little mini stories that hopefully fit together," Paquette told Polygon. "So that treatment that I started with gets thrown out the window because as we develop the story and the gameplay together, things change and we throw out a lot of work.”

The first story in "The City That Never Sleeps" expansion is called "The Heist" and it is centered on Felicia Hardy (Black Cat).

While details about the story are unknown, fans who played the Black Cat side-missions gave them a clue on what she has been up to and the consequences her actions will have in a dire stake on her life. Peter has no choice but to play along and save his one-time fling from danger.

"The Heist" will be added to the game on October 23, while the second and third DLCs are scheduled to launch in November and December.
