Epic Games has been consistently releasing "Fortnite Battle Royale" updates every week, keeping the game fresh and fun. The video game developer has added numerous new items since the game was released, and the game has drastically changed. Season 6 is not going to be any different, it appears, as the developer is preparing more interesting updates for "Fortnite" players to enjoy.

Back in September 2017, "Fortnite Battle Royale" did not have many mobility items. Players mostly used jump pads to get a slight speed boost as there were no launch pads, rifts, shopping carts, or anything else.

Running away from the storm was much harder, but things have drastically changed. Now, there are numerous mobility items in the popular video game, and Epic Games has announced that another one will be added very soon.

New vehicle in Fortnite

Epic Games has revealed that Quadcrusher, a new vehicle, will soon be added to "Fortnite Battle Royale." The game developer has revealed this through the in-game news section, which is quite odd considering that it's Thursday. The "Fortnite" creator usually releases patches on Tuesday or Wednesday, and they announce new items a day or two before.

However, Epic Games has made an announcement much earlier this time, which could mean that a new patch could come before the end of the week.

This may not happen as there is a chance that the announcement was made accidentally.

"Charge the boost to crash through structures or get some air!" is what the in-game description of the Quadcrusher states. It appears that the vehicle will be capable of destroying structures, and that it may be able to stay in the air for a longer period than a shopping cart or an All Terrain Kart.

Other Fortnite vehicles

The first vehicle that was added to "Fortnite Battle Royale" was a shopping cart. This two-player vehicle was added with the v4.3 patch and its primary purpose was to move players around the island much quicker. One player has to drive it, while the other player is a passenger who can shoot weapons, harvest materials, build, emote, and much more.

Season 5 has brought an All Terrain Kart (ATK) to the popular video game. Unlike a shopping cart, this is a motor vehicle and it can carry around four players. Additionally, it is much faster than the other vehicle and players can use its top as a bounce pad. An ATK allows players to move much faster around the in-game island, and it also has a speed boost.
