The latest updates for "Jump Force" reveal two new playable characters in the roster. Bandai Namco Entertainment streamed a new trailer for the anime crossover featuring "City Hunter" hero Ryo Saeba and the deadly martial artist, Kenshiro of "Fist of the North Star."

The Japanese video game publisher also announced the official release date of the game for the consoles and PC platform. "Jump Force" is developed by Spike Chunksoft and it featured some of the most popular anime heroes and villains from Jump clashing together in the real world while dealing with an unforeseen threat that could destroy all of reality.

Paris Games Week trailer

According to Gematsu, Bandai Namco Entertainment showcased the new "Jump Force" trailer at the Paris Games Week event and it featured Ryo Saeba and Kenshiro as playable characters along with a new level set in Paris, France.

Ryo Saeba is the heroic, but eccentric protagonist of the "City Hunter" manga. He works as a private detective catching dangerous killers and masterminds of the criminal underworld. He also has a goofy personality and a notorious womanizer. Ryo is a range fighter who mainly uses guns in battle and prefers to keep his distance.

His weapons include his signature revolver, pump shotguns, and a bazooka. He also uses his car to ram his opponents and explosive barrels for maximum damage.

Kenshiro is a deadly martial arts master and main hero the "Fist of the North Star" manga. He is the 64th Denshosha of deadly fighting style, Hokuto Shinken, which uses deadly pressure point attacks to incapacitate and kill his opponents. Kenshiro is close-range combatant as he relies on fast-paced strikes and deadly accuracy to defeat his enemies.

Dragon Ball Video Game

Both characters will join other famed characters like Son Goku, Vegeta, Naruto Uzumaki, Monkey D. Luffy, Killua, Toguro and more. The game will also introduce four original characters created by "Dragon Ball" manga artist, Akira Toriyama.

Jump Force release date announced

According to IGN, the Paris Games Week trailer also revealed the release date for "Jump Force" on February 15, 2019, in all video game platforms. Video game and anime fans who pre-ordered the game will have loads of DLC items from "Dragon Ball," "Naruto Shippuden," and "One Piece" for character customizations.

The game will also have an online multiplayer mode as players will have the chance to interact and battle other players across the globe.
