The latest updates for "Jump Force" reveal four new anime characters joining its growing roster. Bandai Namco Entertainment streamed a gameplay trailer of the anime crossover game at the Tokyo Game Show 2018 event. "HunterXHunter" characters Killua and Kurapika join Yusuke Urameshi and Toguro of "YuYu Hakusho" to fight other anime heroes and villains.

Bandai Namco also announced a closed beta, character creation mode and season pass features for the game. "Jump Force" is developed by Spike Chunksoft and it will feature several anime characters fighting each other in teams in the real world.

New anime characters at TGS 2018

According to Siliconera, the new "Jump Force" force trailer from TGS 2018 highlights Killua, Kurapika, Yusuke, and Toguro in the roster along with a new stage set in an old Japanese temple.

Each character has their own special powers and abilities to use against their opponents. These include such as Yusuke's Spirit Gun and Shotgun, Toguro's 100 percent power form, Kurapika's scarlet eyes and special nen chains, and Killua's incredible speed and electrical nen.

Bandai Namco previously revealed other anime characters to the roster at Gamescom 2018 such as Vegeta, Gon, Hisoka, Sabo, Sanji, and Marshall D. Teach (Blackbeard). In addition, Bandai Namco also revealed a follow-up trailer featuring four original characters for the game and they are created by "Dragon Ball" manga artist Akira Toriyama.

They are Director Glover, Navigator, Galena, and Kane.

Both Director Glover and Navigator will serve as the players' allies and they explain how both the real and anime worlds collide with each other. Galena and Kane are the main villains of the story and are likely responsible for the events in the game.

Closed beta, character creation, and season pass announced

According to IGN, Bandai Namco Entertainment revealed that "Jump Force" will have its own season pass updates and it's said to contain nine additional playable characters for its post-launch plans. Players who pre-order the game will have bonus items such as three exclusive costumes from "One Piece," "Dragon Ball Z," and "Naruto Shippuden," as well as Frieza's hover pod that can be used as a lobby vehicle.

The game will also have a character creation mode wherein players can create their own original anime character and fight alongside the likes of Son Goku, Naruto Uzumaki, Monkey D. Luffy, and more. Lastly, players can sign-up for the closed beta test this week until October 7, and it will take place on October 12-14.

The game will launch in February 2019 for the PS4, Xbox One, and PC platforms.
