The next installment in the "COD" franchise was announced about a month ago after built speculation from Houston Rocket cornerstone player James Harden wearing a hat with the symbol for the new game. Weeks ago, it was officially confirmed that the team was working on the fourth installment in the "Black Ops" series.

The question on everybody's mind was if the new game would have a zombies mode and it has now been confirmed by multiple outlets that it will have one. The cooperative mode has always been a fun addition to the first-person shooter. An article by VG 24/7, written by Sherif Saed, gives insight into the latest news on the upcoming shooter.

Brace for zombies

Many believed that "Black Ops 4" would have a zombies mode from the start, but nothing is ever 100%. And fans certainly have the right to question the latest installment, as rumors have surfaced that the video game will not include a campaign mode. This is very odd because each "Call of Duty" game has had the single-player mode.

Details about the new game have been scarce, although we now know that there will be a zombies mode as E3 Coliseum 2018 tweeted the arrival of the mode and the big reveal of the new video game. Treyarch, the creators of the latest installment, will also give updates on the video game at E3, an event from June 12-14 and there is no doubt that it will be exciting as new games will be announced.

E3 can be viewed on any mobile device or anyone can purchase tickets and go to the event.

No campaign, no problem?

It has to be seen what Treyarch will do instead of having a campaign mode. Zombies will be included, but will it be enough to persuade gamers to buy "Call of Duty Black Ops 4?" According to the article by VG 24/7, "So far, "Call of Duty Black Ops 4" has been rumored to have no campaign and a battle royale mode.

The game is also reportedly launching on Blizzard's Battle.net."

Rumors stipulate that to make up for no single-player experience, there will be a co-op mode for the video game aside from the zombie's experience. There is no indication as of now of what it will be.

It makes total sense for Treyarch to showcase the game at E3. However, the report by VG 24/7 indicates that more information on the game will come out at a reveal event planned for May 17. PlayStation 4, in particular, has had quite a year with the arrival of "God of War" and other terrific games that will arrive later in the year in "Spider-Man," among others.

The new "Call of Duty" game arrives pretty close with a release date aimed for October 12 on PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
