The latest updates for "Kingdom Hearts 3" reveal details on new worlds, summons, and a possible Release Date announcement. Game director Tetsuya Nomura announced during the "Kingdom Hearts Union X" panel that more Disney Worlds and summons are coming to the sequel. Video game fans are no strangers to seeing summons in "KH" series as they help fend off hordes of Heartless monsters and bosses. The sequel already has five Disney worlds and fans can't wait for more worlds to come very soon.

There is also a new rumor that the official release date for the sequel will be revealed ahead of this year's Electronic Entertainment Expo.

More Disney worlds and summons coming soon

According to Tetsuya Nomura, the game developers will be unleashing more Disney worlds and summons for "Kingdom Hearts 3" soon before its intended release date this year. Nomura also mentioned that characters from the "Union X" are coming to the game as well, and insisted fans to keep an eye out for summons based on them.

So far, this is the only information that Nomura told the fans in the panel as he does not want to spoil everything until he is ready to reveal it to the public. Square Enix revealed its mini-games for "KH3" were inspired by the LCD Mickey Mouse game. It featured Sora joining Mickey Mouse in completing four sets of mini-games such as the "Barnyard Battle, " "Karnival Kid," "Giant Land," and" Musical Farmer."

The sequel has already six Disney Worlds from movies such as "Hercules," "Tangled," "Big Hero 6," "Toy Story," and "Monsters Inc." Video game fans want to see other worlds from "Frozen," "Wreck-it Ralph," "The Jungle Book," "The Incredibles," and more.

In addition, "Spider-Man" video game director Bryan Intihar wants to see Marvel and Star Wars worlds in the game since both franchises are owned by Disney.

Release date announcement ahead of E3 2018

According to SegmentNext, Square Enix will announce the official release of "Kingdom Hearts 3" ahead of the E3 2018 event. Moreover, the official Facebook page of the game changed its profile photo and mentioned that it will launch on the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One soon.

The Japanese video game publisher promised fans that they will launch the game this year and they will have their panel at the E3 2018, joining Sony or Microsoft.

The story of "KH3" will have Sora and his friends fight the Heartless and the new Organization XIII in order to save the Disney worlds from eternal darkness.
