"Fortnite Battle Royale" has over 45 million players, which makes it one of the most popular video games. Even though the battle royale genre has been around for a few years, Epic Games has turned "Fortnite" into a unique game that requires players to eliminate the opposition by using weapons and building. This concept has become incredibly popular, and because of it, the video game is having a huge success.

This battle royale game is played by millions of people, including actors, singers, professional athletes, and other popular people. Two weeks ago, "Fortnite Battle Royale" players and fans had a chance to watch Drake play the game on a live stream.

Also, an NBA player recently admitted that the video game has taken over his life. There is no doubt that "Fortnite" is addicting, and many players have spent countless hours playing it.

NBA player admits 'Fortnite' took his life over

NBA superstar Andre Drummond is another player who is addicted to "Fortnite Battle Royale." Drummond is one of the best players in the NBA, and he currently leads the league in rebounds per game. The Detroit Pistons center recently talked about his video game addicting, saying that it took his life over.

"It took my life over from there," said Drummond, referring to the period when his teammate Reggie Jackson introduced him to the game. Drummond is still relatively new to the game, and there is some room for improvement in his gameplay.

He admits that he's not that good in the game, but he still enjoys it. "The funny part about it is I really suck," said the NBA superstar. "I'm just not that good."

Andre Drummond is not the only NBA player who's in love with "Fortnite Battle Royale" as there are many others who feel the same way. A few days ago, Boston Celtics superstar Gordon Hayward played the video game on a live stream, and before that, Josh Hart of the Los Angeles Lakers wore custom-made "Fortnite" shoes.

New weapon

"Fortnite Battle Royale" players got another new weapon with patch 3.4. Players are now able to use a Guided Missile and seek out their enemies before dealing devastating damage.

So far, the new weapon hasn't been well-received by the community. Many players have complained that the new explosive weapon is overpowered, so it will be interesting to see if the game developer changes something about it. The latest patch also brought seven new weekly challenges for Battle Pass owners.
