The anticipated game "Red Dead Redemption 2" has been talked about for months by fans and the media. "Red Dead Redemption" was a successful game developed by famous studio Rockstar Games. The sequel to the series has just been announced today, along with details on what is to come.

The release date

An article via GameSpot written by Tamoor Hussain lists that the studio has announced that the game will be arriving on Xbox One and PlayStation 4 on October 26th of this year.

While this is a far-off date, the game will be much better developed with the delay. As they say, you can't rush perfection.

Rockstar Games apologized to the fans and others that wanted to buy the game sooner. The article states their apology word for word: "We are excited to announce that Red Dead Redemption 2 will be released on October 26, 2018. We apologize to anyone disappointed by the delay. While we had hoped to have the game out sooner, we require a little extra time for polish." The game was originally supposed to arrive during Spring of this year, and before that in the Fall of 2017.

As I stated before, the studio wants to make sure that the game is the best it can be and that everything runs smoothly.

Although fans will be upset, the studio understands that it is for the benefit of the video game.

The details

The game will be following protagonist Arthur Morgan and the Van der Linde gang. The main conflict in the story will be like the last game in pillaging and fighting for survival. The first game had beautiful environments, good combat, and an intriguing story. The sequel will be looking to follow suit with nice environments, better combat, and a fascinating story.

Although the game is arriving on both the PS4 and Xbox One, there is no clue if it is coming to the PC yet. The first game was not released on the PC either, however, "Grand Theft Auto's" latest game was.

We are also unsure if "Red Dead Redemption 2" will have an online component.

The game will be successful and sell well despite not having a multiplayer component. The famous game studio will not let down fans with this upcoming game as it seems promising based on trailers and screenshots shown off months ago.

The trailer below shows the apology made by the studio and shows off pictures of the upcoming game. Looking at the images, the graphics and environments look incredible. The pictures give off a "wild west" feel, and, at least we now have an official date for the game.
