Xbox Games Pass might offer the best value for money in the industry, especially since Microsoft announced that exclusive Xbox One titles would launch immediately on the platform. For just $10 a month, gamers can play through the latest blockbuster, while guaranteeing that multiplayer focused games always have a decent community at the beginning of their lifespan.

In terms of sales, the Xbox One has lagged behind Sony's PlayStation 4; but, over the last year, Microsoft has done a lot to try and re-establish itself within the console market.

For the Xbox Game Pass, March brings with it a few high profile additions that are worth the price of admission.

'Sea of Thieves' is the Xbox One's first big exclusive of 2018

Rare might not be the company they once were, but the gaming world cannot help but get excited when they announce something new. "Sea Of Thieves" is an action-adventure cooperative multiplayer title that will be available on the Xbox One and Microsoft Windows.

"Sea of Thieves" has gone through a few test runs, with the previews generally being rather positive. Obviously, alpha and beta mainly existed to iron out any technical problems; but, Rare's multiplayer game promises to be one of the key releases of the year.

The Xbox One game is best experienced with friends, as pirate crews set out to discover treasure. "Sea of Thieves" will be available on the Xbox Game Pass on March 20.

Lara returns with 'Rise of the Tomb Raider'

As the highly anticipated sequel to 2013's "Tomb Raider," "Rise of the Tomb Raider" offers fans more of the same. This time around, Lara is seeking out the tomb of the Prophet of Constantinople, which is believed to be hidden somewhere in Syria. Unfortunately, she is not the only one after the tomb's hidden secrets.

In terms of gameplay and story, few Xbox One titles can match "Rise of the Tomb Raider." With a sequel already announced, this is the best opportunity to play through Crystal Dynamics' fantastic action-adventure game.

'Resident Evil Revelations 2' is perfect for horror and action fans

Prior to the release of "Resident Evil 7," Capcom's horror franchise trod water for a couple of years.

After the disappointing fifth and sixth entries, the "Revelations" games were a slight return to form for the series. "Resident Evil Revelations 2" is split into four episodes and attempts to strike a balance between horror and action.

The Xbox One platformer "Super Lucky's Tale" will also be added to the Xbox Game Pass in March 2018.
