This year's commentary team will compose of Michael Cole, Byron Saxton, and Corey Graves. For the first time in seven years, The Hardy Boyz are playable characters in a WWE Video Game. The Olympic gold medalist and former champion will appear in WWE 2K18 through two playable characters. One will be his WWE 'American Hero' persona and the other one will be his ECW 'Wrestling Machine' persona. His last virtual ring appearance was in WWE Smackdown Vs Raw 2007. The visuals are stronger than before. Seth Rollins becomes the successor of Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson, John Cena, Stone Cold Steve Austin and Brock Lesnar, as he features as the cover star of WWE 2K18 game.

The soundtracks in this game have been executive produced by Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson. It features music from artists such as Bruno Mars, Blues Brothers, Kanye West, and Tech N9ne.
Match Creator / Create A Match returns in WWE 2K18- It lets players create a custom set of rules for a match. The game is named as WWE 2K18 - Be Like No One. The five DLC packs will be released - Accelerator Pack, Enduring Icons Pack, MyPlayer Kick Start Pack, New Moves Pack and the NXT Generation Pack. The game will be released on Oct. 17, 2017, for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and the Nintendo Switch. The following are the breakdown of prices for each version of the game: Regular Version costs $59.99, Deluxe Version costs $89.99 and Cena (Nuff) Version will cost $149.99.

Debut of two new features
There will be two brand new features in WWE 2K18. They are MyPlayer and Road to Glory. Roman Reigns is rumored to be the highest rated Superstar in the upcoming WWE 2K18. The next most powerful Superstars in the game are John Cena, Brock Lesnar, The Rock and The Undertaker who all receive a rating of 93.
There are three levels of loot cases: Bronze, Silver, and Gold. You can purchase loot cases in MyPlayer, MyCareer, and Road to Glory.
"MyPlayer" is a single player and "Road to Glory" is a multiplayer game. The fighting styles are designed to create unique-feeling gameplay experiences.
Kurt Angle as a pre-order gift
WWE 2K18 will feature Kurt as a Pre-Order Bonus character. The Olympic gold medalist and former champion will appear in WWE 2K18 through two playable characters. Angle's announcement came after Seth Rollins was made the cover star of the game.
