The latest updates for "Injustice 2" reveal that the official announcement of the sequel's PC version and Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment will launch a beta test version of it this week. The game is currently available to the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, iOS, and Android as PC users will now have the chance to play the game on the platform this year.
There is the possibility that "Injustice 2" will have a second batch of DLC fighters next year.The game has already three DLC packs featuring famous DC heroes and villains, as well as three guest characters.
PC version confirmed
According to Warner Bros. Interactive, the PC version of "Injustice 2" will launch sometime in the fall and PC users will have a chance to play the beta version on Oct. 25.The open beta will be available through Steam, and PC users do not need to pre-order the game just to play it.
QLOC is currently developing the PC version, and it will also be available in the Windows Store. The sequel was first spotted in Amazon France and Dutch retailer website GameMania.
NetherRealm Studios Producer Ed Boon also teased the possibility that "Injustice 2" will be ported to the Nintendo Switch console, but he explained that they will encounter gameplay problems during its development. The technical challenges could lead to the developers hiring an outside studio to handle the porting process.
DLC pack season 2?
"Injustice 2" has three DLC packs that featured additional playable characters for the roster. The first DLC pack introduced Teen Titans member Starfire, Red Hood, and "Mortal Kombat" character Sub-Zero, while the second pack featured Black Manta, Raiden, and Hellboy.
The third DLC pack will feature Ryan Choi version of The Atom and two unannounced characters.

The studio launched the second batch of DLC fighters for "Mortal Kombat XL, " and they might do the same thing for "Injustice 2" next year. Video game and comic book fans listed the characters they wanted to see in season 2 such as Hawkman, Plastic Man, Booster Gold, Doctor Manhattan, Ra's al Ghul, Raven, Enchantress, Katana, Etrigan the Demon, Stargirl, and more.
There are also new premium characters skins for both DC heroes and villains like Shazam, Blackfire, Arkham Knight, the CW Network versions of Green Arrow, Supergirl, and The Flash.
