Ubisoft got some big gaming news this week. The gaming giant made some huge announcement about their very popular tactical shooter game “Ghost Recon Wildlands,” and its targets all gaming platforms.

According to Terminal Gamer, "Ghost Recon Wildlands" will have a free weekend on all gaming platforms (PC, PS4, and Xbox One), from October 12-15. In addition to the free weekend, players will also get the chance to experience the newly announced PvP mode “Ghost War.” This free update will arrive on all gaming platforms on October 10.

According to Ubisoft, the free update "Ghost War" is the studio’s new PvP mode that features a unique deathmatch experience that Recon player has never experienced before. As earlier reported, the new PvP mode also includes the new 12 classes along with their weapons. The 12 newly added classes are the Assassin, Enforcer, Diversionist, Medic, Artillery, Tank, Tech, Sniper, Pointman, Ranger, and Scout.

Additionally, Ubisoft also introduced some new gaming mechanics, which include suppressing fire and sound markers. These make the game an even more realistic and intense. More importantly, the new mechanics will also make the cover and situational awareness an important part of the tactical shooter game.

This is "Ghost Recon" at its extreme.

As mentioned earlier by Terminal Gamer, Ubisoft also plans to expand the game’s PvP experience to add new maps, new modes, and even new classes. All new modes and maps will be made available free to all Recon players, while all new classes will be unlocked only using a Prestige Credits. The Prestige Credits will also be made available free with a one-week early access for all “Ghost Recon” Season Pass owners.
