After weeks of speculations, Gun Media and Illfonics finally announced the arrival of the highly anticipated content of “Friday the 13th: The Game.” The upcoming additions to the asymmetrical survival title will include Part IV Jason, a new Counselor, and a new map. New Counselor

The new Counselor that will join the roster of Jason’s prey in “Friday The 13th: The Game” was unmasked by Gun Media and Illfonic a few days ago. Mitch Floyd will be the next favorite for players who like playing with AJ. The new Counselor has been announced on the game’s official Twitter account. The tweet is an invitation to the new Counselor’s house party that will happen on October 13.

The official website of the asymmetrical horror title also contains more details about the new character. Mitch Floyd’s stats show that he is best at Repair, Composure, and Stealth. On the other hand, players using Floyd should not expect him to move fast. His three lowest stats are Luck, Speed, and Stamina.

The new Counselor does not have the same name as that in the movie franchise. Fans should recognize him as Chuck in the “F13: Part III” movie as they share a lot of similarities.

Part IV Jason Stats

In addition to the new Counselor, fans will also get their hands on the long-awaited version of Jason Vorhees in the game—Part IV Jason.

The newest iteration of the game’s main character will arrive on October 13 along with Mitch Floyd. As for his stats, this newest iteration performs best staying on the heels of the Counselors using his regular moves. He has an increased amount of weapon strength and can bust doors more quickly.

This new iteration has a couple of drawbacks.

Players will not be able to use two of his most powerful abilities. This version’s Shift has a higher cooldown and will not start out with many bear traps. He has also lower movement speed while in the water.

Weather effects and Jarvis residence map

In addition to the new iteration of the main character in the asymmetrical survival title, Gun Media and Illfonic will also release a new map dubbed the Jarvis House. The Weather System with different types of weather elements will also be added to the game. The Jarvis’ residence is the iconic location that was also featured in the movie “F13: The Final Chapter.”

All of this content will arrive for “Friday the 13th: The Game” on October 13 and it will all be free.
