The Iron Banner Crucible event in “Destiny” is now live on Xbox One and PlayStation 4. It will run from October 10 until October 17. The Iron Banner event offers new equipment and weapons for the guardians. The developer made some small changes from last year’s event. According to a report by GameSpot, the matches in the new Crucible Mode are now 4-versus-4 instead of 6-versus-6. Bungie also announced that the players’ fighting abilities will determine the outcome of the matches, and their power levels are useless.
How to join the event?
In order to join the Iron Banner Crucible event, players must first complete the "Destiny 2" campaign mode.
After completing the campaign, players can head to Lord Saladin inside the Tower to join the Iron Banner. The event will be entered through its own Crucible playlist. The playlist also features new matchmaking and Quickplay modes where “Destiny 2” players can play as a Fireteam or in Solo.
What are the changes from last year?
The usual Bounties and Ranks of the original game have been replaced by Iron Banner Engrams. Players can earn Iron Banner tokens every time they enter a match, but more tokens can be earned if the players can win the match. Players can also monitor their progress through the new Daily and Season Milestones. “Destiny 2” players can also claim brand new gears made in the forges of the Iron Lords.
Leviathan Raid Prestige Mode delayed
Bungie was supposed to launch another “Destiny 2” event today. The event is called Leviathan Raid Prestige Mode but it was delayed until October 18. According to the developer, the delay was caused by a serious bug. The Prestige Mode is a super-hard level of difficulty. The primary purpose of the Prestige Mode is to let players experience a more challenging and punishing sandbox.
The level of difficulty will also help the players familiarize the ins and outs of the Leviathan Raid. Because of its super-hard difficulty, only a handful of players can clear out the level.
What are the rewards in Prestige Mode?
According to a report by ScreenRant, players can acquire three sets of complete gear in the “Destiny 2” Leviathan Raid Prestige Mode.
The first sets of gear are five emblems. The second is a Calus Treasured shader, and the third is an Exotic shotgun called Legend of Acrius. The Legend of Acrius shotgun is a rare item because it can only be acquired from the “On the Comms” quest and completing the Leviathan Raid.
