Ubisoft has dropped the major details on post-launch plans for “Assassin’s Creed Origins,” the highly anticipated prequel to the past installments of the “Assassin’s Creed” (AC) series.

The next entry in the AC franchise will be finally out in the market in a couple of weeks, so, the studio revealed exciting information on the major expansion packs and two small packs coming after the launch. It also provided details on the free content available for all players including the list of trophies to win in the game.

Two major expansions

In the new trailer released for “Assassin’s Creed Origins,” game director Ashraf Ismail offered a preview of the two major expansion packs that are part of the game’s season pass.

These DLC packs are known as “The Hidden Ones” and “The Curse of the Pharaohs.”

Ismail said that the first expansion will be available in January 2018 and players will see a big time jump in this upcoming expansion [VIDEO]. The events will take place many years after the base game's setting and the brotherhood will clash with the Romans in a new region.

On the other hand, “The Curse of the Pharaohs” will bring gamers into a new world of mysticism. They will fight against monsters like gigantic scorpions, Anubis warriors, and other mystical creatures while investigating the curse that might have to do with the resurrection of dead Pharaohs. The second expansion will be released on all platforms in March 2018.

Season pass price, free content

It is noted that the two expansion packs are included in season pass that is priced at $40, however, the international pricing is not yet available.

The package will also contain two more add-ons where each will unlock new outfits and weapons.

Season pass owners will also get 500 in-game credits and an exclusive weapon. Those who purchase the Gold Edition and Steelbook Edition of the game will also get all season pass content with no additional cost.

Ismail further said that all players will also be treated [VIDEO] to a plethora of free content after the launch. These freebies include a Photo Mode, Educational Mode, and a Horde Mode. In the Horde Mode, gamers will be thrown inside the Gladiator Arena to fight an endless horde of enemies.

Trophy list

The Trophy List of the next AC title also made its way online and apparently, it is a complete rundown of the available trophies for players. There will be a total of 51 trophies comprised of one Gold, one Platinum, 15 Silver, and 34 Bronze.

The corresponding achievements involve exploring areas, killing creatures, solving puzzles, and also completing quests.

But what’s rather exciting is that there will no longer be collectible trophies, so, gamers do not need to run around Egypt to look for a jewel or a scroll perhaps.

In addition, the difficulty level will be adjusted to the play style of each gamer. It means that players can obtain a trophy whether they like to explore the entire game world or enjoy slaughtering bandits.

“Assassin’s Creed Origins” will arrive on October 27 for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, PC and is expected to support enhanced Xbox One X as well as the PS4 Pro. #Assassin's Creed Origins #Video Game #XBoxOne
