Capcom finally announced the official release date of "Not a Hero" DLC for Resident Evil 7: Biohazard” after it was delayed from its initial spring 2017 launch. The game publisher also stated that the free DLC will release alongside the Gold Edition of the game and the additional content pack titled ‘End of Zoe.”

Free DLC

In its most recent blog, Capcom confirmed that fans will finally be able to download and get their hands on the much-awaited "Not a Hero DLC" starting December 12 this year. To compensate for the long delay in its release, players will be able to get it for free.

Along with the release date announcement, the game publisher also detailed what to expect from the update. It said that the free DLC will offer players a unique take on survival horror.

According to Capcom, "Not a Hero" DLC will directly pick up the events following Ethan Winter’s struggle to get away from the sick Baker family in Biohazard.

Chris Redfield's return

Fans will see the return of one of "Resident Evil’s" main protagonists Chris Redfield who will brave the horrors of the Baker’s mansion. Chris is completely armed with new weapons and gears especially equipped to defend himself from bio organic threats.

He has to survive through the puzzling chambers underneath the manor. There, he will fight deadly and horrifying monsters that lurk in the corners of the mansion as he hunts an elusive new enemy type.

'End of Zoe' DLC

Meanwhile, the third content pack called "End of Zoe" will also launch alongside "Not a Hero" DLC on December 12. In this content pack, players will know what happened to Jack and Marguerite’s daughter after the course of events in the main game.

"End of Zoe" DLC follows two DLC packs that were first launched merely a few weeks after the game’s initial release early this year.

It’s available as part of the game’s season pass or it can be purchased separately at a price of $15.

Gold Edition

For fans of horror video games who haven’t purchased “Resident Evil 7: Biohazard” yet, Capcom is also offering a Gold Edition that already contains all the game's DLC packs. The price of the bundle, however, is set to be revealed at a later date.

It's also exciting for hardcore players to know that both the "Not a Hero" and "End of Zoe" DLC for “Resident Evil 7: Biohazard” are going to be playable in PSVR beginning December 12. The Gold Edition of the game will also arrive on the same date on Xbox One, PS4, and Windows PC.
