Avid fans of the sensational 3DS Pokemon title “Pokemon Sun And Moon can grab free mega Pokemon from September 11 until October 31. Nintendo Direct will also go live on Wednesday and it's likely that fans will get a fresh update on "Pokemon Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon."

A new Mega Stone event has recently gone live in the game offering players a set of free Mega Pokemon. These are Mega Altaria, Mega Ampharos, Mega Latias, and Mega Latios.

How to grab mega Pokemon

What players simply need to do in getting all four Mega Pokemon is to redeem the code DRACHE.

After which, they will be given mega stones for Altaria, Ampharos, Latias, and Latios.

In order to redeem the Mega Stones, gamers have to do the following steps:

  • Choose Mystery Gift on the main menu
  • Select receive gift
  • Select get with code/password
  • Click yes, and yes again to connect to the internet
  • Key in the password DRACHE
  • Wait until the Mega Stones are received
  • Talk to the delivery man on any Pokemon center to get the Mega Stones
  • Don’t forget to save the game

Four Mega Pokemon

Apparently, players will be able to evolve flying/dragon type Altaria into Mega Altaria using the Altarianit stone. Ampharos, on the other hand, is an electric type Pokemon that evolves into Mega Ampharos.

Moreover, the Latiasite stone evolves dragon/psychic type legendary into Mega Latias.

Also, the Latiosite stone evolves dragon/psychic type legendary into Mega Latios.

Nintendo Direct to tease sequel

In more news, Nintendo Direct is set on September 13 and it is expected that the live stream will give out additional details on “Pokemon Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon.”

So far, official details about the next 3DS game only revealed the new Lycanroc form and the game's photo mode.

Obviously, The game developer has been keeping things under wraps, perhaps for the element of surprise.

What to expect

Since “Pokemon Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon” is scheduled for release in November, it is highly likely that the next Nintendo Direct will announce some exciting news to delight the fans of the series. It sounds plausible that players will lay their eyes on a new gameplay trailer that will show off a new area or some of the game’s fresh concepts.

However, players can't expect to see an announcement of new Pokemon, at least not beyond the current Pokemon’s new forms.

Pokemon Sun and Moon” is exclusive to Nintendo 3DS. “Pokemon Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon” will be launched on the same gaming platform on November 17.
