"PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds" has become quite a popular video game despite only being in early access. This free-for-all title places you on a stranded island with around nine other players. Here, you must Survive the various hazards ranging from environmental dangers and other players in an attempt to be the last man standing. While the game has a slight learning curve, it feels incredibly satisfying once you win a round. With that said, here are a few Tips to help you in “PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds.”

Use Vehicles

According to Eurogamer, vehicles are the best way to move around the map.

You’ll constantly be on the move, especially if you’ve dropped off at the edges of the island. The battlefield will continuously close off, slowly killing players who are outside the play zone. Make sure that you find your own vehicle if you’re playing solo, and also make sure to drive safely. Crashing into objects like trees or cliffs can lessen your health.

Use scopes

One way to easily pick off enemies is by finding scopes and sniping them from afar. The game has plenty of these nifty add-ons scattered around the map, so try to find one as soon as possible. Keep in mind that you can only equip them with certain guns, and make sure you don’t attach it to something like a shotgun. To zoom in, just double-click the right button.

Look around

If you’re crossing through a large field, you have to be alert at all times. Be especially careful if you’re passing through buildings as other players might be holed in a bathroom or bedroom. If you hold down the Alt key and move your mouse, you can look around the area without changing your direction. This makes it easier to keep running forward while still having the option to scan the area.

Don’t forget to look in ahead as well since you might get killed by an enemy that’s right in front of you.

Take note of your inventory

If you want to survive, you have to pick up a backpack to carry more stuff. The higher level your backpack, the more equipment you can carry. As you move along in the game, you’ll be picking up some better weapons, scopes, medical items, and similar things that’ll help you survive.

If you feel like you’re carrying too much, it’s okay to drop items. Melee items are near useless during late-game as most fights require guns to survive. While it’s okay to loot things, be smart about it. It’s difficult to rummage through a lot of items, so make sure you’re organized.
