"Destiny 2" is without a doubt on a roll as of late with the events being rolled out by its developer Bungie. That being said, another event is being prepped up for its player base as it will allow them to choose their Faction where they think they can benefit the most.
Faction Rallies is at hand
Dubbed as Faction Rallies, "Destiny 2" players can pledge their allegiance and offer their services to their chosen group/faction. Bungie's Senior Designer Tim Williams further explained how this upcoming event works.
Per Williams, there are factions at the Tower that will be recruiting Guardians to work for them to gather resources and at the same time destroy the competing faction's stash.
In return, these Guardians will be rewarded by their chosen faction with some nifty stuff that will help them ward off other players.
As a form of promoting their group, each faction has rolled out one of their finest weapons to woo Guardians to pledge to their cause. The faction who'll emerge victorious will be offering the featured weapon at a very low price provided that these players pledged their allegiance to their faction.
Old friends are back once again
In line with this, New Monarchy's Executor Hideo, Dead Orbit's Arach Jalaal, and Lakshmi-2 from the Future War Cult will be returning for this event as they will be asking the Guardians to pledge for their cause. The hardware that is up for grabs includes the New Monarchy Sidearm, a Pulse Rifle from the Future War Cult, and Dead Orbit's Scout Rifle.
However, players need to be at level 20 not to mention that they are required to beat "Destiny 2's" story mode for them to gain access to the upcoming Faction Rallies that will kick off on the 26th at 2 a.m. PT.
The inbound affair will be live until the 3rd of October and winners will be announced on the same day at 10 a.m.
PT. Time to buff up and be ready to stack up those faction tokens.
On Guided Games and milestones
Meanwhile, "Destiny 2's" Guided Games will also go live on Tuesday, September 26 as it will take the Guardians to "the mysteries of the Leviathan." The event will commence at 10 a.m. PT and as of the moment, a substantial number of players have been guided since the Nightfall Strike.
Bungie's Senior Designer Steve Dolan stated that albeit being a guided version, the activity will still advance milestones, though it will not be mentioned in the UI tooltip. Check out a video about "Destiny 2" here:
