Tekken 7 will finally get the DLC 1 pack on current gen consoles and PC next week. Prior to release, Bandai Namco Entertainment released an all new footage offering a first look at the major returning feature and a variety of cool new outfits for the game characters.

DLC 1 release date

The DLC 1 pack for the popular fighting title will be launched on August 31. This set of addition is part of the season pass that costs $25 while other players can opt to buy the DLC individually but the price is unknown yet.

Ultimate Tekken Bowl

As announced earlier, the first DLC comes with Ultimate Tekken Bowl, a fun feature that will let gamers play the 10-pin bowling game with their favorite characters.

Fans of the franchise first saw this bowling minigame in “Tekken Tag Tournament” released on PS2 in 1997. Take a look at Heihachi strikes a spare in the new footage below.

Cool new outfits

In addition to the Ultimate Tekken Bowl, the first DLC for “Tekken 7” also brings a slew of summer-ready and vintage costumes for the game’s characters.

Xiaoyu and Alisa get the special Blood Vengeance school uniforms. There are also a set of new swimsuits and Idol Master-themed costumes for all the female characters.

On the other hand, can don some traditional Japanese Fundoshi and some classic 1920s bathing suits as new character costume choices for the male fighters.

DLC 2 out in winter

Meanwhile, the DLC 2 is slated to arrive in winter 2017 with the addition of the first of the two guest characters who will join the official roster including their own stages in the game.

In the next DLC, brawler fans will get to play as Geese Howard, the chief antagonist in SNK’s “Fatal Fury” series. In July, Bandai Namco Entertainment released a first look teaser of the upcoming DLC character as shown below.

What's next

The other DLC character will be added in the third and final DLC pack slated to launch in early 2018.

However, game producer Katsuhiro Harada has not revealed who will be next guest character yet.

Fans have also been flooding Harada’s Twitter page with requests to add their favorite classic characters such as Ana Williams and Lei Wong. To recall, Harada previously said old characters will arrive in free updates planned for the game.

“Tekken 7” is the first title in the franchise to hit Xbox One, PS4, and PC. The game has sold 1.6 million copies so far and is hailed as one of the fastest-selling video game releases this year.
