Back on July 29, Niantic had announced on Pokemon GO’s official social media outlets and on its website that they have decided to postpone several Safari Zone events in Europe, specifically in Copenhagen, Prague, Stockholm, and Amsterdam. This is in correlation to what happened in Chicago during Pokemon GO Fest, in which there were several in game issues that went out of Niantic’s control.

Despite the disappointing news, Niantic has promised a surprise for European trainers on their cancellation statement and it looks like, we now have an idea what that certain surprise is.
