As usual, Tyler and the team will start off the live stream with a Q&A that will run for up to 10 minutes.
Then, fans will lay their eyes on an intense brawl in a jaw-dropping Starfire gameplay video.
Players can anticipate getting a closer look at the next playable character showcasing her unique moves and style. She is a unique fighter with abilities to strike in close range and throw her enemies to the ground.
Release date
Fans can also expect to hear the details on the official release date of Starfire as the final character to arrive in “Injustice 2” Fighter Pack 1. Most of the fans speculate that the Starfire DLC will be available next week at the earliest or the week after at the latest.
No prize for guessing but since the Watchtower stream will take place on Monday, it is plausible that the release date will be on Tuesday, August 15.
It has been a tradition in the US to see the release of video games on a Tuesday.
Who’s next?
Speculation as to who are the next three DLC characters to make it in Fighter Pack 2 have quite created a hype within the gaming community. Some have been rooting for the addition for Black Manta and Raiden.
Amid this speculation, Boon also teased the fans with another photo of armor and tech that belonged to “Mortal Kombat” character Cyrax.
This tease led other gamers to think that he’d be added to the game and not Raiden.
Several fans were not happy with the recent clue from Boon, however. They pointed out that the game is not an MK game and they rather want to see the inclusion of Hawkgirl or Hawkman in the game or any character from a DC property.
Trigon as next DLC character?
But the studio also released a brand new gameplay footage showing off Starfire vs. Robin battle, which dropped a reference to a DC Comics character.
In that short gameplay video, between their intro exchanges, Starfire told Robin that not even Trigon could take her heat. It could be taken as a hint that one of the most powerful beings in the DC universe could likely appear in the game.
But whoever makes it to the next cut, it won’t be long now before fans find out who will be the next set of characters to be added in DLC 2. The reveal trailer will certainly be coming out shortly after Starfire is unlocked in “Injustice 2.”
