Prior to the official release “Call of Duty: WW2” later this year, fans will still receive the fourth and final DLC for “Call of Duty: infinite warfare” on PS4, Xbox One, and PC. Seemingly, the DLC 4 reveal could be right around the corner.
DLC 4 reveal next week likely
To recall, the 2016 “Call of Duty” game titled “Black Ops 3” saw the announcement of its final DLC around August 25. A week later, the Salvation DLC was initially launched on PS4 console.
Given that game publisher Activision will follow the same announcement schedule and stick with its traditional release pattern, it is highly likely that players will hear the first details on the DLC 4 of “Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare” very soon, with the release on Sony’s current gen-console happening a week later.
But as part of the timed exclusivity deal between Sony and Activision, Xbox One and PC versions will be getting the game’s last DLC 30 days later.
What's included in Update 1.19
Meanwhile, Infinity Ward continues to provide more support for the current COD title with the recent release of Update 1.19. The latest patch is available now for download on all platforms.
Among the notable features that arrived with the new update is the addition of two new weapons. These are the Atlas (LMG) and Raijin-EMX (SMG).
In its official blog, Activision said that players who do not own a season pass will need to complete 20 matches. They should get at least ten kills with the use of burst fire weapons in order to unlock the Raijin-EMX.
Then, they must also complete 20 matches and get a minimum of 10 kills using the Raijin-EMX to unlock the Atlas.
The patch also adds some new taunts, camos, emblems, and calling cards. Just like any update, 1.19 brought in a host of changes such as adjusting weapons, fixing prevalent issues in the game, and crushing a number of bugs.
The update further fixed the extreme graphical error found in Shaolin Shuffle, which occurred when fighting the Rat King in Shaolin Shuffle. Also, it now enabled the Bugle audio gesture to be heard by teammates.
The full details of the patch notes are outlined in a blog post on Activision’s official website.
Developed by Infinity Ward and published by Activision, “Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare” is a first-person shooter video game launched on PS4, Xbox One, and PC on November 4, 2016.
The next title in the franchise titled “Call of Duty: WW2” will be released worldwide on November 3. The game beta is currently in full swing and will be live on Xbox One on September 1.
