The franchise has sold approximately 200 million copies and has been dubbed as one of the top-selling video games of all time. Currently, the series’ fourth major title has already reached the 5 million worldwide mark since its release in 2014.

Platforms

Originally, the iconic life simulation game was released on PC (Microsoft Windows) before it was finally made available to Mac users in 2015. Although the game’s other entries were released on the previous generation consoles, the series has remained to be PC-centered recently.

So far, the fourth major title has already released three DLCs. These are Get To Work, Get Together, and City Living. There are 5 game packs and 12 stuff packs that players enjoy in the game.

Moreover, the developer has also rolled out different types of updates that have added more fun in the game like the inclusion of Toddler Life Stage.

Meanwhile on the game’s official Facebook page, the game publisher, hinted on a new teaser trailer that will be released in the game soon. These have sparked speculations among fans that Electronic Arts could be introducing the Pets in the game.

There are some others who claim that the game publisher is hinting about the next DLC, dubbed as Seasons.

For now, these are all speculations about “The Sims 4.” Most likely, Electronics Arts will soon release official information about the Microsoft Store listing and about the teaser trailer.
