After a long wait, Telltale Games has finally announced that it will be releasing new seasons for three of their most popular video games. They revealed that new seasons for "Batman: The Telltale Series," "The Walking Dead," and "The Wolf Among Us" are in the works.

'Batman: The Telltale Series' returns next month

This video game series made its debut in August 2016. The first season ran for five episodes until December 2016. After one year, Telltale Games has finally confirmed that the second season is on its way. The new season has been titled "Batman: The Enemy Within" and it is slated to release its first episode on August 8 this year.

It will also have five episodes just like its first season.

"Batman: The Enemy Within" will kick-off the series with Riddler's return to Gotham. The first episode is titled "The Enigma"and the developers revealed that there will be gruesome puzzles, and in order to survive the challenge, Batman has to gain unlikely allies.

The video game is the first of the episodic Telltale series to apply the "Crowd Play" feature. It is an option that enables players to stream their playthroughs on various services such as Twitch.tv, and viewers can even have a say in terms of gameplay by voting for an option for the player/streamer to choose.

'The Walking Dead' and 'The Wolf Among Us' slated for 2018 release

Telltale Games also unveiled at the recent San Diego Comic Con that they are already working on a new season for "The Walking Dead." And shortly after denying rumors that a new installment of "The Wolf Among Us" was in the works, they finally came out and confirmed that another season of the game is indeed coming soon.

The new season of "The Walking Dead" series is sadly the final season and the developers revealed that Clementine will return as the main character. The first season of the game was released in April 2012 and the series is Telltale Games' breakthrough success, which motivated them to create more video games with a similar approach.

"The Walking Dead: The Final Season" is the fourth season and fifth installment of the series. "The Walking Dead: Michonne" was a mini-series released in February 2016, which connected the stories of the main seasons of the video game.

Meanwhile, the second season of "The Wolf Among Us" is also being geared up to release next year. The series kicked off in October 2013 with five episodes and it will return with "The Wolf Among Us: Season Two." The developers haven't released further details but they've announced that Adam Harrington and Erin Yvette will be returning to lend their voices to Bigby and Snow White, respectively.
