Great news for fans of "The Sims 4," as it seems that the game is finally making its way to Xbox One this year. Specifically, the Release Date of the game is set for November 17, as per a new leak. Gamespot reported that the date was published on a Microsoft Store listing, which indicated that the game is indeed arriving at Xbox One on November 17. It's been three years since the game made its way to PC, and it's about time that it is made available for Xbox One players. However, the leak is to be taken with a grain of salt, as the report indicates that EA hasn't made any official announcements about the game arriving on consoles just yet.

Microsoft listing includes description for the game

The Microsoft Store listing for "The Sims 4" shows that players will be able to "enjoy the power to create and control people in a virtual world" and "express your creativity as you customize your Sims' distinct appearances and unique personalities." Players will also be able to take advantage of the new room-based Build Mode, which enables players to build homes and select their favorite decor. The player experience is completed by opportunities to travel to new environments and explore new neighborhoods as well.

Deluxe Party Edition also coming this year

According to True Achievements, Xbox One players who are looking to play "The Sims 4" should also watch out for the Deluxe Party Edition, which is set to arrive on November 14.

Those who pre-order will be able to get their hands on the Perfect Patio Stuff, with awesome hot tubs, more fashion, and another bonus decor.

Long journey to Xbox One

"The Sims 4" was originally released on September 2, 2014, for PC and February 17, 2015, for Mac OS. It is the fourth iteration in the life simulation series from EA and Maxis and has received several expansion packs since its release.

Back in March 2015, the "Get to Work" expansion pack was the first to be released, with three new playable careers in the form of Doctor, Detective, and Scientist. In December 2015, the "Get Together" expansion featured recreational activities that Sims can do with their friends, including clubs, DJ booth, DJ skills, and natural pools.

"City Living" was released in November 2016 and featured a new city called San Myshuno, featuring four new neighborhoods to explore. Now whether "The Sims 4" for Xbox One has a release date of November 17, 2017, remains to be seen, when EA makes an official announcement about the matter.
