The Sony PlayStation 4 has gotten a huge library of games for the past years and it is about to get a new set of games later on this year.
Here are a few games that are set to come out this year:
'Star Wars Battlefront 2'
This may be one of the most talked about game this year for the PlayStation 4 after all the attention it got in the Electronics 3 convention a couple of months back. This game is an action shooter game that will have the same feel to it as the previous installment did, but it did receive major revamps as shown in the game demos it provided in E3.
There will be a solo campaign that actually has a legit story line, unlike the last battlefront that failed to deliver in that aspect.
Also, Yoda, Kylo Ren, and Darth Maul are also going to make their debuts as playable characters once the game releases. As mentioned above It will run on Frostbite 3, which explains how beautiful graphically this game has evolved from its predecessors and with the new PS 4 Pro, the new Sony console will run this game smoothly and could even get 4k support later on. This game was published and developed by EA Dice and Criterion Software, respectively, and will be available for all gaming platforms except the Nintendo Switch this November 17, 2017.
'Uncharted The Lost Legacy'
After having an incredible year in 2016 by almost beating out the likes of Dishonored 2 and Overwatch for the game of the year award Naughty Dog sets its sights forward and tries to give a sequel to the PlayStation 4 exclusive series Uncharted. With everyone expecting "The Last of Us 2" after it released a trailer early this year Sony has decided to keep quiet about TLOU2 and shifted its attention to Uncharted in E3.
This is not related to Nathan Drake but is an all new story line centered on Chloe Frazer and Nadine Ross trying to search for a mystical treasure. Naughty Dog has always been known for its amazing story line, visuals and voice acting and the Uncharted Series always delivers on its action packed filled games. This game was published by Sony and developed by Naughty Dog and is set to release on August 22 exclusively on the PlayStation 4.
There are also numerous honorable mentions that will surely make a mark later this year on the Sony PlayStation 4 like "Call of Duty WWII" set to release on November 3, 2017. "Days Gone" was also rumored to be released this year but it is still all speculation as to when the new Sony exclusive Zombie game will come out. This year will be a busy year for all games all around with huge games coming up and the International 7 around the corner for Dota 2 fans, whatever you play as a gamer this will be a hell of a year.
