This week will be a big day for all PlayStation 4 users, especially for those who have pre-ordered the Destiny 2 game title. At 10 a.m. tomorrow, new owners will be granted an access to the Destiny 2's long-awaited Beta.
When will it start?
The beta will start rolling depending on two factors. First is whether or not you pre-ordered the bundle and second is if you received a code for the closed beta, which indicates the platform you're playing on.
For personal computers, unfortunately, "Destiny 2" will start up in August but the exact date is not yet confirmed.
Xbox One users who have pre-ordered the game will also have the chance to join in on the fun the following day. Yes, that is correct, on July 19, all Xbox One users who avail the bundle of "Destiny 2" will also have the chance to try its beta form.
This big gaming event that will start tomorrow marks the public gamer's first chance to go hands-on with the most anticipated sequel to Bungie's 2014 game. Bungie, Inc. is one of the well-known American video game developer based in Bellevue, Washington, United States.
What is included in the beta?
Just like the other games, "Destiny 2" is also based in a unique story line. In fact, its story begins with multiple players answering a distress call from the Last City on Earth. The "Destiny 2" beta consists of three elements and these are following:
- The Homecoming, the game's first campaign mission
- The Inverted Spire, a cooperative multiplayer Strike
- The Crucible, game's online player-vs-player arena
All players who want to experience the most anticipated game won't need a Sony PlayStation Plus or Microsoft Xbox Live Gold subscription. However, they are required to have the game in purchase in order to access the Inverted Spire or Strike and Crucible.
More on Destiny 2
The full deal of the upcoming online video game in development by Bungie is set to be released on September 6 for PlayStation 4 and October 24 for Xbox One. The pre-loading of the Destiny 2 beta on PS4 will take up 15GB of storage, while 12.83GB on Xbox One.
The game will be officially published by Activision Publishing, Inc. Activision is a well-known American publisher of online games including Blur (2010), Skylanders series (2011), Destiny (2014), and much more.
Its gameplay will be almost similar to that of its original episode. The game will still be described as a first-person shooter online entertainment, which incorporates role-playing and multiplayer online game elements.
However, unlike the original game, the second generation will feature a more optimal form of matchmaking and communicating technique called "Guided Games." This new feature will allow players to search for clans in order to conduct additional activities, such as strikes or raids. The activities in Destiny 2 game will be divided among player versus environment or PvE and player versus player or PvP game types.
