Square Enix rolls out update after the other as the release date "Dragon Quest XI: In Search of Departed Time" draws closer. Previous updates mentioned about the skills and spells of the protagonist and his companion Camus. In addition, the team behind the said game updated their official website with in-game scenes. However, there was nothing new in it.

A new prologue video is released and presented the prologue in a new perspective, excellent graphics included. The details and clear visuals are the key features of this prologue video. The protagonist is stated as the reincarnation of the hero that once defeated evil and saved the world.

3DS and PS4 themes

Along with the release of Dragon Quest's prologue video, Square Enix will also release two themes for PlayStation 4 and Nintendo 3Ds consoles. Here is what the 3DS theme looks like via Twitter user NintendoSoup:

Furthermore, a 3DS theme is not only the things that players can benefit. They can also get Twitter icons. Twitter user Japanese Nintendo says, "Free Dragon Quest XI 3DS theme and Twitter icons coming tomorrow in Japan (thanks to @gamenohanashi)."

Both of the themes above are free for download and use, so players should grab it while they can.

Additionally, they can grab it through Nintendo e-Shop for the Nintendo 3DS and PlayStation Store for the PS4.

Live stream an hour before

The said company will also host a live stream an hour before the game's release date on July 28 23:00 JST (Friday) on NicoNico Douga, a YouTube-like Japanese video service website. The stream will talk about the game and covers much about the introduction to the game's contents.

This will allow fans to see the game first before purchase. Well, the game is not bad and presents excellency in terms of story, battle mechanics, interface, and graphics.

Dragon Quest XI: In Search of Departed Time launches on July 29 in Japan on both Nintendo 3DS and PlayStation 4 consoles. Moreover, the Nintendo Switch version is yet to be announced as well as the Western localization. The game is said to be one of the best games to play this year (2017) and the years to come.
