Sledgehammer also released a trailer for the latest mode of the highly anticipated game. Aside from those, fans learned that it would be an entire Nazi Zombie mode and not just an off-scenario surface addition. From the recent interview of Sledgehammer founders Glen Schofield and Michael Condrey, more details emerged about the game’s 'zombies’ addition.

In a recent interview with EDGE magazine, Schofield revealed that “Call of Duty: WWII” zombie mode will feature a plot based on events that really took place.
The Nazi’s involvement in the occult had been shown in many films before. The team behind the upcoming game scanned and visited cities around Europe and other war sites to get the real feel of the place. They also designed the game’s environment to simulate the exact setting and atmosphere of the real place.
The latest game mode will feature the Treyarch's Nazi Zombies. According to Schofield, players will face these zombies in a terrifying environment. These Nazi zombies follow the story of the Third Reich’s fraught attempt to build an army in the last stage of the Second World War. Aside from that, the game developer intends to add more twists into the game mode. As revealed by Condrey and Schofield, fans can expect adrenaline pumping and heart pounding scenes in the latest mode.
'Dead Space'
“Dead Space” was regarded as one of the best horror games of all time. Both Sledgehammer founders once lead Visceral Games in developing the title. While fans can expect that there could be a horror themed game mode, Condrey and Schofield assured that Nazi Zombie mode will be a unique one.
More information about “Call of Duty: WWII” will be revealed at the E3 2017 event.
The game’s multiplayer mode is expected to be revealed in full detail. It is also safe to assume that the same thing will happen for Nazi Zombie mode. Sledgehammer intends to introduce historical authenticity to the game. Even the Nazis Zombie mode is drawn from reality and will be based on genuine things and real events according to the game developer.
“Call of Duty: WWII” will be released on November 3, 2017. It will be available on PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4.
