“Assassin’s Creed: Origins” has been leaked again today. This time more are claiming that the leak is legit as compared to those previously reported. It appears that the highly anticipated comeback of Ubisoft’s premiere franchise is really happening and is poised to create big waves in the gaming market.
Latest leaks
An alleged Target preorder card surfaced online, which supports the previous reports about the game taking place in Egypt. On Reddit, the reservation card reportedly states that the upcoming Ubisoft game will be titled, “Assassin’s Creed: Origins.” In addition, it contains an art that features a pyramid, and a sphinx among others confirming previous reports about the game’s Egyptian setting.
Gold Edition contents
Aside from the name of the upcoming title, the leaked card also reveals details about the contents of “Assassin’s Creed: Origins” Gold Edition. It includes a season pass, a steelbook, and a deluxe package. Moreover, those who preorder the game will get a bonus mission dubbed as “Secrets of the First Pyramid.”
Previous leaks
Most likely, if we base on the leaks that have surfaced online, the game would revolve on Ancient Egypt. Most definitely, it would explore on slavery, religion, culture, and assassinations that happened in the place. Other speculations about Ubisoft’s premiere title includes a claim that it would be the prequel of all the installments previously released under the franchise.
Furthermore, it is also anticipated to embrace the modern-day fragments of the four games that were released before it.
It can be recalled that several gaming sites previously released reports of the game’s screenshot. The image depicted a character on what appears to be a vintage looking Egyptian inspired boat. A brief off-screen footage was also making rounds on the web, which claims to be the game’s reveal trailer.
In the short video, it was revealed that the game’s action would happen in Thebes, Egypt at around 1354 B.C. You can check the reportedly leaked teaser below.
Release date
While Ubisoft has been tight-lipped about details of the upcoming title, several analysts have made some predictions on the potential release date. “South Park: The Fractured but Whole” is set to launch in October 2017, while “Far Cry 5” is scheduled for a February 2018 release, the game will most likely arrive in November of this year.
Ubisoft is probably banking on the Holiday season, and a November 2017 release seems apt.
With the E3 2017 event happening in a few days, it is expected that Ubisoft will reveal more details about “Assassin’s Creed: Origins.” You can check your favorite game’s latest update here at Blasting News as we release new updates when information becomes available.
