Mike Green

Green has two goals and six assists while blocking 56 shots. He could be useful to a young contending team looking for a veteran defenseman. The Avalanche could use Green.

2

Wayne Simmonds

Simmonds, a gritty player, has five goals, 14 assists and 115 hits. The Leafs would benefit from a player like Simmonds.

3

Blake Coleman

Coleman is under contract next season at a cap hit of $1.8 million but the Devils may look to sell high on him. Coleman has 19 goals and 10 assists on 164 shots (11.6 shooting percentage).

4

Andy Greene

The Devils captain has a goal, eight assists and surprisingly doesn't have a bad +/- rating (-1) on a bad Devils team. He would be a good fit for a team in need of a veteran defenseman and is a free agent at the end of the season. [image source: Lisa Gansky- Flickr]

Sami Vatanen

Vatanen has 23 points (five goals and 18 assists) with 10 of those points coming on the power play. He also has blocked 80 shots.

Craig Anderson

Anderson has seven wins this season with a 3.19 GAA and a .901 save percentage. He wouldn't be a bad option for a contending team in need of a rental backup goalie.

Connor Sheary

Sheary, who has seven goals and nine assists, would be a decent option for a contending teams fourth line. A benefit that comes with getting Sheary is that he stays on the ice as he's only spent eight minutes in the penalty box this season.
