The Portland Trail Blazers were swept out of the playoffs by the Golden State Warriors in the Western Conference Finals on Monday night. They fought valiantly, but unfortunately fell 119-117 in overtime.

It will be interesting to see if Portland decides to give their current group another chance to take another step forward (to the NBA Finals), or if they make some minor changes to their club. The Ringer asks three questions that the Trail Blazers must answer this offseason.

Here are the notable upcoming free agents for the Trail Blazers (listed in alphabetical order by last name). Their free agents list was taken from Spotrac. Ages listed are how old they will be once the new regular season begins.

1

Al-Farouq Aminu (PF) - Unrestricted, Age: 29

Aminu has played the last four seasons with the Trail Blazers, with three of them as a regular starter. He started all 81 of his games in 2018-19 posting per game averages of 9.4 points, 7.5 rebounds, and 1.3 assists. Aminu has connected on 35.3 percent of his three-point tries during his Portland tenure.

2

Seth Curry (SG) - Unrestricted, Age: 29

After missing all of last season, Curry was a valuable piece off Portland's bench in 2018-19. He appeared in a career-high 74 games averaging 7.9 points while nailing 45 percent of his three-point attempts.

3

Rodney Hood (SF) - Unrestricted, Age: 27

The Trail Blazers acquired Hood in a deal from the Cavaliers in early February. He was one of the team's best scorers off the bench as he averaged 9.6 points in the regular season for Portland and 9.9 in the playoffs.

4

Enes Kanter (C) - Unrestricted, Age: 27

Signed by Portland in mid-February, Kanter played a larger role once starting center Jusuf Nurkic went down with a season-ending injury. His play and impact faded against the Warriors though as Golden State was not a good matchup conducive to his play. He shot 57.7 percent from the field and averaged 13.1 points in 23 regular season games for Portland.

5

Jake Layman (SF) - Restricted, Age: 25

While Layman started 33 of his 71 regular season appearances, he played a grand total of only 19 minutes in the postseason. In 18.7 minutes per contest in the regular season, he averaged 7.6 points (on 50.9 percent shooting from the field), 3.1 rebounds, and 0.7 assists.
