The Nebraska basketball team appears to just be running out the string at this point. Against Michigan on Thursday night, they were blown out early and often en route to a final score of 82-53. What once was supposed to be a dream season for Tim Miles and company has turned into a nightmare. Falling to 15-14, it's looking more and more likely that they'll finish with a losing record.
On the flip side, the Michigan Wolverines have lost just four games this year. They continued to beat up on lesser teams on Thursday night. In the contest, there were several performances which stood out.
Jordan Poole-Michigan
The Wolverine star had one of the best plays you're going to see this year. For the game he had just six points, but the dunk was demoralizing for the Huskers.

James Palmer-Nebraska
Unforunately, Palmer's performance didn't stand out because he played well. He hit just three of 15 shots on Thursday night and was benched to start the second half.

Jon Teske-Michigan
The Wolverines center had himself a heck of a game. Against the Huskers he scored 22 points and hauled down 10 rebounds.

Ignas Brazdeikis-Michigan
There were actually two Wolverines that managed double-doubles on Thursday. Teske was one, Ignas Brazdeikis was the other. He scored 20 points and seven rebounds.

Nana Akenten-Nebraska
Akenten came off the bench to lead the team in scoring with 11. While his performance was decent, that he was a team leader tells you all you need to know about Thursday night.
