On Friday (March 1), the Atlanta Hawks and Chicago Bulls went four overtimes in one of the highest-scoring NBA games in history. The two teams combined for 329 total points with the Bulls coming up as the winners. Below are the five top player performances from Friday's exciting contest in Atlanta.

1

Zach LaVine - Chicago Bulls

In Friday's game, two young stars put up huge numbers for their points totals. For the winning team, Zach LaVine was a few stats shy of a first-ever triple-double. However, his 47 points gave him a brand new career-high. LaVine also finished with nine rebounds and nine assists, plus that sweet victory.

2

Lauri Markkanen - Chicago Bulls

Another emerging star in Chicago who helped with the win was Lauri Markkanen. The rising star scored 31 points and hauled in 17 rebounds, even though he admitted to not feeling right for the game. Still, it was a superb double-double to help out with Chicago's victory.

3

Otto Porter Jr. - Chicago Bulls

A Chicago Bulls Big Three? That seems like the case with the addition of Otto Porter Jr. in Chicago. He's helped this team go 6-2 since arriving to the Windy City. In the 4OT game, he tallied 31 points and 10 rebounds to give a sizable contribution to the win.

4

Trae Young - Atlanta Hawks

The rookie is certainly earning his respect as a member of an overachieving Atlanta Hawks team. Trae Young put up an absurd stat line in this four overtime thriller. He scored 49 points for starters, but also gave out 16 assists to teammates. In addition, he grabbed eight rebounds. It was all in a losing effort, but even Young admitted after it was the most fun he's had in a basketball game.

5

Alex Len - Atlanta Hawks

Respect goes out to starting player Dwayne Dedmon and NBA star veteran Vince Carter, but Len put up impressive numbers off the bench. The former Maryland star scored 24 points, grabbed 10 rebounds, and had two blocks in the losing effort.
