White bread contains refined starches which could cause a drastic increase to blood sugar levels.
White pasta
White pasta is a type of noodle made from refined white flour. It causes a rapid increase in blood sugar levels when consumed.
Energy bars
These can be found in grocery stores. They are made with refined flours, although they provide the body with energy. It doesn’t change the fact that they contain a large amount of sugar and should be avoided.
