The NBA All-Star Game 2019 edition arrives on Sunday, February 17 from Charlotte, North Carolina. Here are the five players who were tops in the voting system and will start in the game from the Western Conference.
LeBron James - Los Angeles Lakers
This is LeBron's 15th appearance, but it's his first time as a representative from the Western Conference. LeBron led all West players in total votes and will be the captain of one team in the All-Star game. He makes his team selections in a draft on Feb. 7.
Stephen Curry - Golden State Warriors
The former two-time NBA MVP is making his sixth appearance in the annual All-Star Game. Curry is averaging 29.6 points, 5.4 assists, and 5.1 rebounds per game this season.
James Harden - Houston Rockets
James Harden is making that push for a second-straight NBA MVP Award. His hard work has the Rockets among the best teams in the West, and also earned him his fifth appearance in the All-Star Game.
Kevin Durant - Golden State Warriors
The two-time NBA Finals MVP is one of the big reasons Golden State continues to thrive in terms of the title chase. KD will appear in his 10th All-Star Game this year, after many previous appearances for the OKC Thunder.
Paul George - Oklahoma City Thunder
Paul George has been getting it done for OKC this season with averages of 27.3 points, eight rebounds, and four assists a game. PG13 will appear in his sixth All-Star Game as a result of his work.
