On Sunday (Feb. 3), the New England Patriots and Los Angeles Rams will battle it out in Atlanta, Georgia. Super Bowl 53 will be the latest installment of the NFL's annual championship game. The winning team gets the Lombardi Trophy. While the current odds have the Patriots favored by two points or so, there are many other bets that people can make. Here are five of the popular "prop bets" or special bets that are going on for the big game.
Two-point conversion success
SB Nation reported that this is the most popular prop bet on the board. Bettors are saying that there will be a two-point conversion in Sunday's game. It's got some potential, depending on the direction the game goes. In a major blowout, it might be less likely to happen.
Might two-points conversions play a factor in #SBLIII?

The @Patriots were one of seven teams that didn't convert a two-point attempt this season.

Result of opening coin toss
Barring some bizarre luck where the coin lands on its side or spins infinitely, this can go one of two ways. Right now, the top bet is that the result will be heads. The result of tails is No. 5 in terms of most popular prop bets that gamblers have made.
Like the 52 Super Bowl games before this one, the Patriots and Rams will open the festivities with a good old-fashioned coin toss. Heads has come up 25 times, while tails has come up 27 times.
