On Sunday (Feb. 3), the New England Patriots and Los Angeles Rams will battle it out in Atlanta, Georgia. Super Bowl 53 will be the latest installment of the NFL's annual championship game. The winning team gets the Lombardi Trophy. While the current odds have the Patriots favored by two points or so, there are many other bets that people can make. Here are five of the popular "prop bets" or special bets that are going on for the big game.

1

Two-point conversion success

SB Nation reported that this is the most popular prop bet on the board. Bettors are saying that there will be a two-point conversion in Sunday's game. It's got some potential, depending on the direction the game goes. In a major blowout, it might be less likely to happen.

2

Result of opening coin toss

Barring some bizarre luck where the coin lands on its side or spins infinitely, this can go one of two ways. Right now, the top bet is that the result will be heads. The result of tails is No. 5 in terms of most popular prop bets that gamblers have made.

3

Player to score first touchdown?

The running backs have the edge here as both teams' star backs are on the prop bet list. Todd Gurley is the No. 7 prop bet choice. The Pats' Sony Michel is the No. 10 most popular bet here.

4

Will Rob Gronkowski score a touchdown?

Survey, or bettors say, "Yes." This is considered the fourth most popular prop bet right now. Gronk could make some bettors out there a bit richer with another Super Bowl TD.

5

Who wins Super Bowl 53 MVP?

Tom Brady might be the obvious pick here, but it's actually a star player from the Los Angeles Rams. Todd Gurley is getting some love from bettors and is No. 8 most popular prop bet on the board.
