5 NBA player performances from November 23 games

These five top NBA players put forth All-Star caliber performances in wins on Friday.

After a day off for Thanksgiving, it was back to work for the NBA. There were a number of great games on the schedule for Friday (Nov. 24). Here are five players who came up big in victories for their respective squads.

Russell Westbrook - Oklahoma City Thunder

Paul George was picking up the slack for OKC while Westbrook was out of action. With Westbrook back, the team now has a powerful 1-2 punch. On Friday night, Westbrook's near triple-double of 30 points, 12 rebounds, and eight assists helped OKC defeat the Hornets.

Andre Drummond - Detroit Pistons

The Pistons donned their "Motor City" jerseys for a battle with the Houston Rockets. While Blake Griffin and James Harden had a duel of their own, Andre Drummond came up huge. The big man had 23 points and 20 rebounds in a 116-111 win!

LaMarcus Aldridge - San Antonio Spurs

Gregg Popovich's Spurs also seem to find a way to win no matter who's on the floor. Luckily, he's still got the services of big man LaMarcus Aldridge. On Friday night, Aldridge had 33 points and 14 rebounds to lead the Spurs to a win at Indiana.

Kawhi Leonard - Toronto Raptors

After some recent losses, the Raptors seem to be back on track. Their offseason acquisition, Kawhi Leonard, was a difference maker again. He came up with 27 points, 10 rebounds, and two assists in the win over the Wizards.

Kevin Durant - Golden State Warriors

Golden State was able to snap a nasty four-game losing streak on Friday night. Klay Thompson had 31 points while Kevin Durant also came up big. KD scored 32, grabbed eight rebounds, and dished out seven assists in the win over Portland.
