The Los Angeles Lakers defeated the Phoenix Suns, 131-118, on Wednesday night. LeBron James finished with 19 points, 10 assists, and seven rebounds in his first Lakers' win. Below are five amazing highlights from L.A.'s first win of the season.
Lance to Lonzo for the off-glass dunk
Maybe the highlight of the evening, or at least the one that put an exclamation point on the team's first win. Late in the fourth quarter, the Lakers got the breakaway with Lance heading toward the basket, and Lonzo trailing. Stephenson tossed the ball off the backboard with Lonzo slamming it home for the dunk.

King to Kuzma with the sweet assist
King James had double-digit assists tonight, as he found ways to get his teammates involved. On this play, he had a bit of a surprise bounce pass past several defenders. It goes right to Kyle Kuzma, who swooped in for a layup "and one" play!

KCP's one-handed slam
Kentavious Caldwell-Pope seems to have been missing in action for the first several games. In tonight's win, at Phoenix, KCP came off the bench to score 14 points. That included this slick one-handed slam dunk on the fast break.

This early play was a sign of things to come in a highlight-filled Lakers' win. Kyle Kuzma caught a pass out near the side of the three-point arc and then drove the baseline. After running underneath the basket, he turned and swiftly delivered a nice one-hand slam.
