Prince Harry and former actress Meghan Markle announced their engagement last November. A couple of days later, their wedding date was set for May 19, 2018 at St. George's Chapel at Windsor Castle. After being engaged for two months, the couple has made many major decisions about their upcoming wedding, according to Us Weekly.

Plans already made

The 36-year-old bride-to-be has already selected her wedding dress designer and has had her first fitting at Kensington Palace. Markle will wear a loaner tiara and appropriate jewelry from Queen Elizabeth.

Every royal bride since Queen Victoria has carried a small piece of myrtle in their wedding bouquet, and Meghan will do the same. The myrtle was grown from a bush given to Queen Victoria as a gift by Prince Albert's grandmother.

The bride-to-be had a trusted glam team that has worked with her for many years on "Suits." As of now, the plan is to bring the team in because the team knows how to make Meghan look even more beautiful than she already is.

Wedding party

It is still up in the air if Meghan's father or mother will walk her down the air. Both parents will be at the wedding, but Meghan's stepbrother Thomas Jr. and stepsister Samantha Grant are not on the guest list.

The 33-year-old groom-to-be has chosen his brother Prince William to be his best man.

Duchess Kate, who will have her third baby in April, will attend the wedding, but she will not be in the wedding party. Meghan has not revealed who her maid of honor will be, but she plans to have one. All royal weddings have a bunch of kids participating. Therefore, Prince Harry's 4-year-old nephew Prince George will be a page boy, and his 2-year-old niece Princess Charlotte will be one of the four flower girls.

Who's attending?

Meghan's close friends attending include Serena Williams, Priyanka Chopra, and Misha Nonoo. Her former "Suits" co-stars Patrick J. Adams and Gabriel Macht are expected to be there. Since the wedding is not a state occasion, there is no pressure to invite political leaders. Harry's friend former president Barack Obama and his wife, Michelle are expected to be invited.

Because Markle resided in Canada such a long time while she was filming the hit legal drama, she intends to invite Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and his wife, Sophie.

Prince Harry is inviting a former girlfriend. Chelsy Davy. because they remained friends after their seven-year relationship ended in 2014. However, another former girlfriend Cressida Bonas won't be invited.

Other events

Markle is planning a unisex get-together for her closest friends. The event will be in London, and it will include good food and drinks with music. However, it will not be a wild bachelorette party.

The couple wants a fun wedding reception for their guests with dinner, dancing, and live entertainment. Newly engaged Ed Sheeran has been rumored to be invited to perform.

The couple is known to take long trips together, and they are planning to do the same for their honeymoon.

Prince Harry and Meghan will not have a wedding registry. Instead, they are encouraging family, friends, and well-wishers to donate anonymously to a charity on their behalf.
