2016 was a great year for Comic Book Movies fans. The theatres were graced byBatman V Superman: Dawn Of Justice,” “Captain America” and “Civil War.” But Hollywood vowed to give us more comic book movies. This year we have seen stronger and robust ones. Marvel Studio will have released three movies alone by the end of 2017, not to mention others from DC and Fox. If you love superhero movies, then you need to grab a mug of coffee and switch on your TV to watch any of the comic book movies below.

1. Logan (March 3, 2017)

'Logan' is “X-Men saga’s” latest chapter from Fox, according to Odyssey.

In the film, Hugh Jackman plays the role of Wolverine. He has been playing the role for the last 17 years now, and it's believed that this was the last Wolverine film. Critics have praised the film for its amazing story and its ability to embrace a true R-rating. Last year, the R-rated "Deadpool" was a hit. Be sure to catch the movie.

2. Wonder Woman (June 2, 2017)

The film looks half origin story, half set-up, but it still gets all the attention. According to Screen Rant, the Warner Bros released “Wonder Woman” this year after “Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice” and the “Suicide Squad” did well last year. Gal Gadot plays the main role as Diana Prince. Patty Jenkins directed the film, and humor and traditional adventure characterize it.

3. Spider-Man Homecoming (July 7, 2017)

According to Toronto Sun, the first “Spider-Man” starred Tobey Maguire in 2007, and it was a hit. Sony tried to reboot the character five years later with Andrew Garfield. They created two films, then went silent again. Now the character has been revived by Tom Holland, and Micheal Keaton plays the villain.

To make it more entertaining, the Iron Man appears in the film. The movie will definitely be a one of 2017’s finest.

4. Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets (July 21, 2017)

The movie is just another space opera outing from Luc Besson, according to Screen Rant. The first one was “The Fifth Element, ” and the 'Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets' are based on a popular French comic book series.

The film seems like its keeping all the strange aliens, extraordinary landscapes, action, and adventure. You need to watch it.

5. Justice League (release date: November 17, 2017

“Justice League” is the ultimate challenger for “The Avengers” franchise. It’s the most praised DC film, and fans are hoping that can see Batman, the Flash, Wonder Woman, Superman and many other characters on the same screen, according to Odyssey. Ben Affleck will once again play Batman. He and other cast members have promised that the film will have a lighter tone unlike last year’s movie “Batman v. Superman”.
