The internet. It is a virtual world filled with unbelievable things. It goes without saying that you can buy just about anything (within legal limitations of course) on the internet if you just look hard enough. In fact, eBay is a great place to start.

People are always looking for an easy way to make a buck, but selling weird things on eBay isn’t always the first thing that pops into people’s minds. There are lots of weird things you can buy online, and food seems to get a lot of attention - not just regular food though, but strange food and food that looks like other things.

Oddly shaped food

Sometimes if you get lucky and find food that’s shaped like a celebrity or location, you can sell it and bring in some money. This is also the case if your food looks like it has a picture of something on it.

In 2008 a corn flake shaped like Illinois sold for $1,350.00. An eBay seller is currently selling a moldy piece of bread for $30,000. It's not any piece of bread though; it's actually a tuna sandwich in a bag that has mold in the shape of Mickey Mouse. The seller says he'll give half the money, if he sells, it to charity and the listing started as a joke. A grilled cheese sandwich that appeared to have the Virgin Mary in the toast sold for $28,000 dollars. A Dorito shaped like the hat of the pope sold for $1,209.00.

Cheetos are hot on eBay

A Cheeto that looks like Superman flying is on eBay for $5,000.00. The picture shows he can fly to the left or to the right depending on your Cheeto superhero preferences. A Cheeto shaped like the tragic Harambe sold for $99,900. The gorilla was shot at Cincinnati Zoo after a child fell into his habitat.

Some of the strangest include creamed possum in a can with gravy, and fifty pounds of Oreo filling. Things that come to mind when you see this is who will buy it? The Oreo filling is $3,000.00. Maybe you would buy it if you wanted to make the world's biggest Oreo.

You will also find you can Purchase a fifteen dollar can of reindeer meat.

If you're an adventurous eater you'll also find a five dollar bag of BBQ Bamboo worms.

Used clothing

Believe it or not, there is also a market for used articles of clothing on eBay. There are some sellers, for example, who made a pretty penny selling used pairs of socks.

So, if you are looking for exotic food to try or want to play the most extreme game of truth or dare ever, it’s safe to say eBay is a good place to go. Make sure you pay attention to your toast or popcorn kernels because if it looks like something familiar, it could be worth a whole lot of money.
