Memphis Grizzlies high paid point guard Mike Conley has spoken up about his predictions for the rest of the 2017 NBA playoffs. During a segment on Sports Center, Conley discussed the inevitable third straight finals face-off between the Cavaliers and the Warriors. And like many other have predicted, Conley believes the two powerhouses will meet each other in the NBA Finals.

Mike Conley has his best season in 2016-17, he averaged a career-high 20.5 points per game, 6.3 assists per game, 3.5 rebounds per game and 1.3 steals per game. He did this on 46% shooting and 40.8% from downtown in 69 games for the Memphis Grizzlies.

He led his team to the 7th seed in the Western Conference but fell to the San Antonio Spurs in the first round, although not without a fight.

Mike Conley talks LeBron's dominance, and championship prediction

Mike Conley discussed the insane level of play that King James is performing at right now in the 2017 playoffs. This being a huge reason for the Cavaliers success and their hopes at winning a second straight NBA championship. Conley said:

"I like LeBron right now, I do. I like what he's doing... he wants his legacy to be known as a guy who wants to take down super teams and win consecutive championships and doing it the way he is doing it. He is dominant right now, and I just don't see anybody stopping him at this point."

Mike also was asked the question of Cleveland's chances at beating the super team of Golden State that features superstars such as Kevin Durant, Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson and Draymond Green.

It seems a very tall task to beat this team, but Conley still gives Cleveland the advantage. Stating:

"They learned a lot from last years series. (Don't) Forget, they've got Kyrie, they've got JR, they've got Tristan down low, they added Deron Williams, they got depth. Their bench is gonna have to play big in order for them to do it, but having a leader like LeBron that's gonna prepare them for it, I just have to go with them."

So if the inevitable happens, and the Cleveland Cavaliers face off against the Golden State Warriors once again for the third straight time in the finals.

It should be something special to watch.

Cavaliers and Warriors are just dominating

Both the Cleveland Cavaliers and the Golden State Warriors have started the 2017 playoffs with an insane record of 10-0. Sweeping their first two series' a perfect 4-0 and starting the conference finals with a record of 2-0. It very much seems like we will be seeing them up against one another in June.

The ratings will be higher than ever, as this will be the most anticipated NBA Finals in recent memory. But if Conley is correct, LeBron could do something special, and his legacy will have him as arguably the greatest of all time.
