Goldberg has not ruled out another potential comeback in the squared circle, and this time he’s targeting a showdown with the ‘Big Dog’ Roman Reigns and the ‘Monster among Men’ Braun Strowman. The former WCW and WWE World Heavyweight Champion sat out with Raj Giri of Wrestling Inc. to discuss his recent run in the WWE and the future ahead of him as a performer.

Glorious comeback for Goldberg

Goldberg said he felt satisfied with the result of his latest WWE run, as he believed it somewhat re-wrote what was wrong (referring to his controversial match with Brock Lesnar and sudden exit from the company in 2004).

Goldberg, who not only fulfilled his wish of becoming a wrestling hero for his son and other kids but also captured his second WWE championship belt (the WWE Universal title) during his recent onslaught in WWE, really thinks he’s far from being done.

The former owner of the longest streak in WWE/WCW history (Asuka now holds the title) said another run in the WWE is something he needs to take into consideration because he understands the physical nature of the business. Nevertheless, at 50-years old, Goldberg is always ready for the next challenge.

Who’s Next for Goldberg?

If given another opportunity to stage another WWE comeback, Goldberg said he’s setting his sight on the potential big-money match with former WWE Champion Roman Reigns and contender Braun Strowman.

Goldberg, who just needed 22 seconds to dispatch then WWE Universal champ Kevin Owens at RoadblockL End of the Line, has no doubt that he can hold his own ground against the best young talent in WWE.

Goldberg had a program with Roman Reigns in the lead up to Roadblock, and he thinks it would have been fun if he was given the green light to touch elbow with WWE’s most prized superstar.

Then, there’s the red-hot Braun Strowman, who ironically took most of the brunt of that particular program.

In the end, Goldberg believes WWE is doing the right thing in pushing Reigns, Strowman, and other young superstars. “I think the stars of the future are right on the cusp of breaking out. There is a plethora of talent ready to be the next big thing," Goldberg said of WWE’s current roster.

Future Venture for WWE star

Goldberg revealed that he’s back training again at the Muay Thai Gym. The WWE superstar said he needed a break from training in order for his body to recover the wear and tear of pro-wrestling. He’s also scheduled to appear at the upcoming Goodwood Festival of Speed in West Sussex, England from June 29th - July 2nd. He also not ruled out the possibility of competing in a truck race.
