Fans of the TLC Duggar reality television show “Counting On” have been eagerly waiting for any news regarding the future of the show. Some fans are worried about the show’s fate, as, in the season finale that just recently aired, there was no sneak peek for the next season of the series, as there usually is with lots of TLC reality television shows. Well, now, after weeks of speculation, a crew member for the show may have just dropped some hints about the future of the series. You can continue to read below to find out about the fate of the Duggar television series.

A report by Celeb Dirty Laundry relays a lot of the facts and speculations within this piece.

What did this crew member say about the series?

What happened, was a crew member for the show, John Rotan, revealed that he was visiting the Duggar’s home state of Arkansas for Thanksgiving. With his IMDB page saying that he is the director of photography for "Counting On," it could mean that he was going to the state to visit the family. You could even speculate that because he flew over there around Thanksgiving, he was filming the Duggar’s Thanksgiving dinner and that is what many fans online believe.

It was reported on the internet that Rotan had an exchange with Amy Duggar online about the clan's Thanksgiving dinner.

Rotan said the following online about the family’s holiday meal: “Yeah…those Duggar Thanksgiving dinners! #foodbaby #kiddingnotkidding.” With Rotan joking about having a food baby from the family’s dinner it is pretty obvious that he was at the house to do something for the family. The bottom line to this is that by Rotan being there it conveys the feeling that he was working on something for the series.

That pretty much guarantees that there will be a new season of the show.

What has the Duggar family been up to?

Well, if you haven’t been keeping up with all things related to the Duggar family, then you wouldn’t know how much controversy is surrounding them at the moment. For example, Jill Duggar’s husband, Derick Dillard, has been in the news recently for making some rather transphobic remarks toward transgender TLC star Jazz Jennings.

Dillard’s remarks were so offensive that it made TLC cut ties with him, as they didn’t want his views to be associated with their network. Here is a snippet of what Dillard said online about Jennings: "I pity Jazz, 4 those who take advantage of him in order 2 promote their agenda." If you want to see more of this family, you can go onto TLC and watch their show “Counting On” or you can follow them on social media.
