It's time for another new episode of "Saturday Night Live" on Saturday, March 4. This is the first new episode since February 11 when Alec Baldwin hosted for a record breaking 17th time.

Octavia Spencer and Father John Misty

Octavia Spencer will do the honors of hosting "Saturday Night Live" this coming weekend. It will be the actresses's first time serving as "SNL" host. Spencer is currently starring in "Hidden Figures," a film about a team of African-American women working at NASA. The movie received Academy Award nominations for Best Picture and Best Adapted Screenplay.

Spencer earned herself an Oscar nod for Best Supporting Actress for her role as Dorothy Vaughan.

Even those who have not seen "Hidden Figures" will still likely recognize Spencer. The actress appeared in 2011's "The Help," in which she won an Academy Award, a Golden Globe Award and a BAFTA Award for Best Supporting Actress.

On March 4, the musical guest on "SNL" is Father John Misty (FJM.) The multi-talented musician has a new album coming out on April 7 titled "Pure Comedy." Shortly after the album drops, Father John Misty will begin a North American tour. The tour kicks off in San Diego on April 12 and will make stops in Brooklyn, Chicago, Seattle and more. This will be Father John Misty's first time performing on "Saturday Night Live."

Next week on 'SNL'

There's another new episode of "SNL" coming up on March 11.

That episode will be hosted by actress Scarlett Johansson with Lorde as the musical guest. Johansson is on a publicity jaunt for her upcoming movie "Ghost in the Shell," which will be released in the U.S. on March 31. Johansson has hosted "Saturday Night Live" four times before and has made two cameos. The last time she hosted was in May of 2015.

20-year-old singer Lorde has been out of the spotlight for a while. She is making her way back in with her "SNL" appearance and a new album coming out. The new album, "Melodrama," is her first release since her debut album, "Pure Heroine," which came out in September of 2013.
